Estate 14kt 0.60ct Kite-Shaped Diamond Ring 1.60ctw
A fabulous Estate diamond ring! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and displays a very unique, bold design. The wide band features a bezel set kite-shaped Rose Cut diamond at the center, measuring approximately 0.60ct and exhibiting J color and VS2 clarity. Two tapered rows of Step Cut diamonds flank the center stone, collectively weighing approximately 1.00ctw and exhibiting H-I range color and VS2-SI2 range clarity. With twenty in all, the sparkling accent diamonds are comprised of square and rectangular-shaped Step Cuts, each channel set and extending to the midway point of the band's sides. The band tapers slightly towards the back and stamped along the inside shank is "Rex" and a "14K" gold purity mark. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in February of 2021 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,000.00. A fabulous ring, it would make a perfect stacking piece to wear with other bands, or a unique engagement ring.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could be minimally resized. The band tapers in width from 7mm at the front to 4.5mm in the back. The kite-shaped center diamond rests about 3/16" above the finger when worn.Â
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
