An exquisite engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1920-30) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central 1.70ct cushion cut diamond, which is held within a four-prong setting. The diamond is Fancy Light Brown-Yellow and I1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring are encrusted with eight old European Diamonds .40ctw of bead-set old mine cut diamonds, which display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "18k". The central diamond is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #5231593135 , which provides more information on the center stone. Measurements:Â The ring is a size 6.25 but could easily be re-sized. The band has a width of 1.04mm.
Condition:Â The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
