Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Engagement Ring 1.59ct

An exquisite engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this ring showcases a 1.59ct old European cut diamond. The prong-set stone is simply magnificent, displaying G/H color and SI1 clarity. The diamond is complemented one each shoulder by 2, bead-set, single cut diamonds. The smaller diamonds are surrounded by a "v"-shaped border channel-set French cut sapphires. The sapphires display a striking blue hue, which adds a wonderful "pop" of color to the mounting. The gallery of the ring features lovely filigree-detailing, which incorporates blooming floral and foliage-motifs. The shoulders and band of the ring feature wheat-motif engravings.
